    Need advice - lost ring

You definitely need to use a pinpointer in this situation. Pinpointers operate in all metal mode so just keep taking out all the metal signals you get and the ring will have to sound off eventually. Do you have a pinpointer?

Fail to Pinpoint On End Coins

It makes sense that they would pinpoint off center, I actually had a quarter standing perfectly on it's edge read as two coins six inches apart and the coin was exactly in the middle of the two readings.

    Iffy target yesterday

The 101 target days are pretty much dried up that's for sure. Mask and deep is where the silver is hiding and it takes talent to find them and perseverance.

    Just Curious.

I'm thinking you gain about 1" in wet verses dry ground, not really wet conditions but damp conditions.

We've still got around 4" of snow here in WV but warmer weather is just around the corner. In the next few days we should be able to see the ground again.

I think I saw a Minelab X-Terra Elite on The Curse of Oak Island

I agree with your thoughts, on that show they use the best equipment that's available. You should be able to find some Bobby dazzlers with your detector.
