    kepping sand out of coil cover on excal II

    So I emptied the coil cover of sand for the first time over the weekend. I noticed how delicate that coil looked on the bottom. Is there any way to keep the sand out permanently? I heard truck bed liner works or something. Anyway. HH. -Joe
