Can Garrett Detectors even COMPETE with the Latest & Greatest?????

The GTI 2500 has a very deep true all metal mode, which the gti 1500 lacks. Who is spending 1K on the GTI 2500? Apparently they are selling. They have new ones selling way up here where I live. If they were't moving stock, I am sure Garrett would discontinue that line. Only a very small...

Can Garrett Detectors even COMPETE with the Latest & Greatest?????

Last year Garrett RAISED their prices on all Detectors. What's that say??? It says that parts, labor, shipping, and utilities have caused an increase in prices, just like pretty well everything else on the global stage. So, eventually the price is passed on to a consumer. Then they want Big...

Can Garrett Detectors even COMPETE with the Latest & Greatest?????

How would you know if Garrett is doing well or not? Only somone privy to their books could come out with a statement like that. I remember not to long ago that Garrett was actually hiring new people for some new positions. Hiring.......not laying off. Think about that for a minute. Just like...

I Cashed In. Called My Poker Hand. Sent "ALL" MY Gold To A Refinery For Cash!

Thanks Jim. A lot of digging gravel, and digging junk to get the gold. But, in thend....it all adds up and am healthier because of it too.

I Cashed In. Called My Poker Hand. Sent "ALL" MY Gold To A Refinery For Cash!

I have to cash in while I am still alive. I am going to fully retire soon.

I Cashed In. Called My Poker Hand. Sent "ALL" MY Gold To A Refinery For Cash!

I cashed out, called my poker hand, it's time! I sent my gold out to a refinery for cash. Going to a refinery eliminates the middle man, and you get a much better price for your gold. Included in my package was the gold jewelry I have found during my last several years using my Garrett metal...

I haven't Posted For A While. Still Alive. Here's Some Nice Gold From This Year.

I purchased a river sluice and a few new highbankers to search for gold this year. I still have a great finds from metal detecting too. I will post that later. This semi-retirement has kept me awfully busy. Here's a very short video clip on processing sand to get the flour gold out.

Here's My 3 1/2 Hours Total, in 3 Hunts With The New APEX Reaper Coil So Far.

I like it! It likes our Canadian coins, especially the one and two dollar ones. Some makes/models of detectors won't even respond on those coins or read them as junk. The large coil has good separation abilities in trashy areas too. A welcomed surprise for a larger coil.

    The GTI 2500

That means that you have the newer chip which added more depth. Prior models users had the option of having the new chip installed for $100.00

Coil covers for the GTI 2500?

I know Garrett is out of the white imaging coils, however, might have the covers for the black 8" coil. Call them at 1 800 527 4011

Ordered A 14” x 11” DD Reaper Searchcoil For The APEX And Tried It Out....."WOW"

It sounds like a good "Fit" for the AT MAX also. Sometimes adding a new coil to an existing detector is like getting a new machine.

Ordered A 14” x 11” DD Reaper Searchcoil For The APEX And Tried It Out....."WOW"

I am a great fan of the AT Series for general hunting needs in my local. I have always enjoyed it's sensitivity and ID/audio abilities. Someone suggested I try the Reaper coil on the APEX for similar results. Well, after about an hours worth of playing with the controls, changing frequencies...
