Really nice find. The wear tells me gold. Nothing showing thru like plated. I believe that serial number could be looked up as well.

My “new” Dual Field PI & hanging out with OldBeechnut (OBN)

Nice write up. I wouldn't mind changing my 500 meter to the 180 mod. Like you I'm having great difficulty detecting from injuries though. The deepest hole I ever dug was with my Explorer xs swinging the 15" WOT coil. A 1950's silver plated bottle bear can opener. Had pearl handles. I kept...

Morning, all. Steve here. Well wishes to all, and needing some prayers, please.

Prayers Steve for you and your wife. Beautiful you can praise our Lord in such a beautiful way. Never give up . Have you tried tumeric powder ? One of the strongest non RX anti-inflammatory. Has helped me. I usually take one tablespoon with a pinch of black pepper in my coffee with cream...

    Beach Sweeper

Soon we'll have to get Ground Penetrating Radar units to find the Old good stuff. And mini excavator's to dig them up. I'll get the remote controlled ones so this old fart can sit in the shade having a cold one. Sad days ahead for us detectorist.
