    Was looking at comparison video

I have noticed that too. I guess they are just thinking single freq only

Some observations of equinox coils on Xterra Pro

Don't feel too bad because over time they will become numb to your interest in the hobby!!!!

Some observations of equinox coils on Xterra Pro

Well I thought about that coil and also the 14x8 one too. It seems maybe the regular 11 inch eq coil may be the route I take because it did seem to tame the bouncing numbers down on mine. I have only tried the 11 inch stock eq900 coil and the coil I would shoot for is the first generation 11...

    Monte

Just now saw this. I hate to hear it as well. I did a few transactions with him too and also read his elaborate explanations of the way he approached the hobby. Was a whiz on the older tesoros and was not afraid to tell people his thoughts on units. Hate to see him go.

    X-Terra Pro vs. Vanquish 440?

I once had a vanquish 550 and now I have the xterra pro currently. I know the vanquish is going to id a target more accurate at depth than the new xterra pro will. However in higher iron infested areas the xterra will be more forgiving being a single selectable frequency unit not falsing so...

Converting Whites coil plugs for older whites units

Thanks for the input. I have looked into getting something that would work on the Quantum but.....they want almost if not more for the style of coil I am looking for compared to what the machine itself goes for. So I am selling it now

Some observations of equinox coils on Xterra Pro

I had to go back and take another look at the single freq and no.......it will up average the signal on the nickle in single freq with the eq900. 4,5 and 10 freq will sound off on it but the numbers are all over the place. 15, 20 and 40 pulls the signal down lower to the nickle range with 20...

    Whites quantum 2 anyone??

Like the thread says.....I would play with it for a bit and let it go. Still a good park and or yard unit

Anyone use the Equinox 6" coil on the New Xterra Pro yet? Curious about how it performed.

I just made a post above talking about it. It hits my 8 inch nickle in my test bed but still up averages the number.

Some observations of equinox coils on Xterra Pro

Looking forward to see what you come up with!! I may take a closer look at some different coils myself.

Some observations of equinox coils on Xterra Pro

This is not a test between units but more of a comparison between the xterra stock coil vs the equinox coils running on the new xterra pro. I do not know if there is any difference between the previous generation equinox coils verse the 2nd generation of eq coils. However the new eq coils...

First Impressions with the Xterra Pro

    Orx or deus I

If you look here in the classifieds there is a pre owned xp deus for sale at a good price.

    Orx or deus I

Oh and I personally liked the 9" Round White HF coil better than the black 9" round coil. Do not worry because the 31khz freq punches plenty deep too on coins.

    Orx or deus I

I had a blast with my ORX when I had one. I compared the same target in ground with both the deus and orx using the same coil operating at the same frequency and both units sounded off on the target. If you want to adjust the tones or tone breaks and customize programs then you may like the...
