    So who is buying all these detectors ?

    I don’t have a dedicated gold sole y ( nugget hunter ) ……. I only hunt old coins, jewelry, tokens , that type of hunting…….. If i ever got to the gold fields I would invest in a gold monster !! Next spring / summer i will be fresh water lake / swimming hole hunting!!!!! in the past I only hunted...

    I would definitely call Fisher , they will give you cost estimates so you will know in advance if you choose to repair.

    whats the best detector you ever had

    The Xp D2 Ws6 master has taken that position since i have been learning it !!! It unmasks like no other!!!! I can use it ALL day with no fatigue. excellent depth, ID is extremely accurate. Before that I had 28 years with the Fisher CZ5 and later added a CZ70 pro. (just too heavy) …… no more czs...

    Deus II low volume issue

    Hey Bill, the D2 has volume control in the main controller and a volume control at the Ws2 headset also , maybe check that , it sometimes gets overlooked. 😃

    Have 8” and 5” (waterproof?) coils for my CZ7a Pro. What would I gain by buying a 10.5” coil for it?

    The 8” coil is excellent for coin shooting on land . The 10.5 “ coil is just to heavy. You would probably benefit on the beach with it.

    The rarest and probably the best coil for the Xterra Pro isn’t in your pictures, the V10X. Minelab told me they have a november time frame. Let’s hope so !!!

    Sensitive and Sensitive FT

    I like using Sensitive Full tones and lower your reactivity then lower your Audio response so you have modulated audio , that way soft high tones indicate depth and louder tones indicate shallow targets. I can still hit 8” deep silver dime in my test garden. HH Tony

    I don’t think the V8x or V10x coils are available yet ??? I may be wrong. Patiently waiting for the release of V10x coils !!! come on Minelab !!!!
