    I'm not the original owner, so have no idea about warranty. I bought it used last April on the Friendly Metal Detecting Forum. I don't have any receipts, etc. I have used it without any issues, just don't need a bigger coil for the type of hunting I do.

    The differences are very slim, and this particular site is just so overloaded with big ferrous targets (like chunks of aluminum garden edging, shards of steel, etc.) that I have chosen to just cherry pick high tones that are coin-sized.

    MI-4 pinpointer sensitivity?

    I don’t know why my experience is different. I get so frustrated at the MI-4’s wonkiness. Sometimes I can practically touch it to the target before it responds. Maybe vibrate is just less sensitive, although I don’t know why that would be.
