    I still wish Minelab would come out with an upgraded version. Lighter, waterproof, and faster recovery speed. Better separation too. I guess the Manticore was an attempt at upgrading of the Explorer's. Though I'm not seeing the depth like the original. I'd love a Sovereign like that. I'm sure...

    Looks like a closet queen. Not even O rings on the toggles. Many Sovereign's hit the closet after their owners just couldn't figure them out. And didn't have the heart to sell them.

    Find a battery rebuild shop. I've had a few of mine rebuilt and to a higher capacity at that. From 1500 mah to 3500.mah. Though I don't know about cheaper. Around $70 buks. You could pick up a AA battery version. The most common mod was to change the frequency of the sound. I didn't get that...

    Sovereign's owners just wanted more out of them. So many were modded. Hacked actually many of them. Maybe that's what you bought.

    I believe it will function though it will loose the imaging. I can't remember. Is that a 4 or 5 pin machine ? Seems like I remember having more than 4 pins for the coin size imaging function.

    I believe that's the 7.5 khz DD coil. Works on many machines. I have it on the Garret grand Master cx 3 and cx plus. I believe it also worked on my ace 250. Not certain on that one. Though I believe it will work on all the cx series.
