    hello everyone

    Had not been here for a good while, got out today with the LRP for about 30 minutes. Found a rock that makes the detector go crazy, dont know what it is. Hh all.

    thoughts on platinum and land ranger pro

    Ok now i am not an expert but here goes. My lrp has the 11 dd coil the platinum has the 8" round concentric. Most of my testing was done indoors on a wood floor with some old nails in it or air tests. The depth seems the same on both machines, a quarter at about 10". Both machines id very well...

    Hi all you minelab folks. I want a new high end detector and it will have to wait untill after the new year but it is going to be a fisher f 75 or a safari. Could anyone tell me about the safari, how deep is it on coins under ideal conditions? Thanks for any info.

    new platinum

    I just recieved my new platinum and it might be my inexperience speaking but i was kind of dissapointed. With the 8" coil it does not seem to get anymore depth than my sharpshooter 2. The sharp shooter might even be a little deeper, this is in the air. Also i thought it had a manual ground...

    I know an air test is not always an accurate way to judge a coil or detector but i am real happy with my sharpshooter2. With the 4" coil it is getting a mesured 6" on modern dimes and the same on a small 10k ring. Hope my new platinum does a little better.

    sharpshooter 2 and fisher f2

    I have both of these detectors and use the same 4" coil on both. The ss 2 seems to be about an inch deeper in air tests. What do you all think about this? Does this sound right to you folks with lots of experience?

    hi everyone, just got here

    Just wondering if anyone here has a bounty hunter platinum and do you like it? Also does it have a true auto ground balance or is it fixed? It does have a manual ground balance right? Thank you all for any information!
