    Any idea's what this is.

I agree. It looks like a spoon type lure. The hole near the tail end is where the treble hook attaches to.

    Cellular trail cameras

A Tactacam Reveal cell cam would work well for what your doing. A Moultrie Edge is another good choice. You simply pay a monthly fee and the camera will send the pictures right to your phone app. Plans are cheap too. I think I pay 8 dollars a month.

Curb stripping last couple of weekends

I've never hunted curb strips because I'm always afraid I'm trespassing or will be accused of it. With finds like that, I'm going to have to be more brave. Great job!

    Rutus Atrex Maiden Voyage

I'm a big fan of the old Nautilus machines too so it's interesting to hear that the Atrex reminds you of them. If it's as deep as the old Naughtys you might need to get a bigger shovel. Very nice buttons.

    Opinions??

Unless your gold detecting, the Manticore is Minelabs latest and greatest. If you want to save a few dollars the Equinox 900 is an excellent machine too. Good luck in your decision.

    First Equinox Gold of 2024

That's a fantastic ring. If you give it a little more time and really learn the Nox, you might not need/want to upgrade. The 800 is a fine machine.

Got a Question for all those old timers out there like me???

    1) Location, location, location is the key. You cant find it if it's not there. 2) Guys and gals knowing how to use their machine comes next. 3) I believe most mid range detectors produced over the past 15 years have the ability to find 80% of the targets. The other 20% needs the high end...
