    Coiltek 12x8 coil for etrac

Has anyone tried the Coiltek 12x8 platapus for the etrac.. I was looking at it.. Any thoughts over the standard or the SEF coil? I know a lot of people have the Joey small coil and love it. I have the sunray x-5 and does me good. Looking for a bigger coil to try. Thanks for sharing..

Found a foot away from 1764 reale..?

It was 12 inches deep and when I got to it it comes in as 12-44 on the etrac.. Nice green patina... Your thumb fits perfectly on the wing, the base fits into the palm of your hand. There is some rusty iron attached to it. I was thinking a tool handle..? What do you think?

2 tone ferrous yields my first Barber 25, plus

Checked out a new spot tonight and tried 2 tone ferrous. First hit was a 1958 dime, second hit was a 1943 war nickle. Then tons of clad.. just kept walking over it. I had to turn my killer B's down. Got a 08-48 reading (i think it was 08) but 48 was constant. Dug the plug stuck in the probe...

New to posting, but I have two coils for my explorer II. An older 1000 and a newer Slim line 10 inch. I would think the newer slim line would be the way to go but after reading some of the post, people like the older coil. What is the difference and would I notice any depth diff. for old coins...
