    Fisher CZ-5 Question

I have an opportunity to purchase a CZ-5 that needs repaired. I am just curious as to how much repairs could be for this unit. The owner seems to think it is circuit-card related. He has tried different coils. It will hit on metal but it is making erratic noises. He has replaced the speaker--no...

    White's TDI Pro

Purchased in March. Plenty of warranty remaining. Twelve inch coil. I will also include the Jimmy Sierra harness for chest mounting the control box. Would consider a trade for an Excal II and some cash but it would still need to be under warranty. $1300 shipped in original box. Paypal gift or...

Whites Treasuremaster PI 1000 Series 2

Whites Treasuremaster PI 1000 Metal Detector. Unit is in good working condition. Just had the unit out today to ensure the seal is good. No problems with leakage. The upper-arm cuff has been replaced. Additionally, I have it set up to run on a 9-volt battery as opposed to the original 6-AA...

    Tesoro Sandshark F/S $400

I purchased the detector last July. Looking to go back to land detecting for now. I have found enough goodies to pay for the detector. I do not need to go into detail about this detector. It can hold its own compared with other brands. Cosmetically, I would consider it an 8/10. The seal is...

    Yesterday's Hunt w/the Sandshark

Spent about six hours on the beach yesterday. Just got my scoop back after being repaired (thanks Dad!). Found an assortment of goodies. Found a cool 14KT puzzle ring, three foreign coins, a rather strange pin, my second 50 cal round (SL 41), the most hideous owl earring, and about five dollars...

    Not sure...maybe you are

I found this in my parents yard along with some turn-of-the century coins. A house once stood in their yard prior to the construction of their house. The item is approximately six-inches long and made of copper or brass. I do not know what it is but perhaps someone out there could help.

    Beach Find

Found this on the beach today. Thought it was a gun at first, but after removing the bulk of corrosion it looks like a clamp. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sandy Didn't Give Up the Goods...

Was able to detect Saturday and Sunday. Although I didn't get the good stuff, I had a great time with the Sand Shark. I did find one item I hope someone could help me identify. I will post it in the whatzit forum but figured I would post here as well. Prior to cleaning it up some, I thought it...

    Sand Shark Produces Again

Been through a bit of a dry spell since having a good find as our beaches stay pretty clean. Don't misunderstand me--I enjoy every opportunity to hunt. Just about to call it a day when this ring pops up. It is sterling but I doubt the stones are of any value. Anyway, a good end to a good day.

    First Month with the Sandshark

Just capped off the first month with my first Tesoro. While some may think this is a small take, I have omitted all of the trash. Not pictured are approximately 20 tent stakes, 100 bottle caps, and plenty of the other usual subjects (it's still too tempting not to dig. It's also fun to play the...

    F/S E-Trac with 2 Coils

The detector is is in excellent condition with two years remaining on the warranty. Along with the standard pro coil, you will also receive an Explorer 800 7 3/4" coil, good for trashy areas. I have also included an environmental cover. Original box included as well. I recently relocated near...

    Minelab Explorer SE For Sale

I am placing my like-new Explorer SE up for sale. I have approximately eight hours on the unit. This is an Irish-made unit that I purchased from an older gentlemen who bought it and never used it. The following is included: Detector with stock coil 2 pouches and carrying case 2 Battery Packs...

    First Hunt With The Explorer

While I am not new to the forum, I am new to the Explorer. Purchased an Irish-made model from an older gentleman who took it out of the box once and put it in the closet soon after. Long story short: I have owned the E-Trac, Sovereign GT (I do miss this detector on the beach), and the Safari...

    Pinpointing

Far from veteran status, I have two hunts with my E-Trac. I cannot, however, begin to sing enough praises for this machine. This is an upgrade for me from my Safari. I began pinpointing the first day out; however, after seeing how accurate this machine locks onto a target, I began forgoing...

    Short Hunt

Just a short hunt the other night at a vacant lot in town. I have hunted this lot before but became a bit frustrated with the trash. Performed a cross-save from C/J to Relic and it helped tremendously. The Safari was a bit more chipper. It might of had something to do with me ordering an...

    Coil Option

Any opinions on a third coil? Besides the stock coil, I have the 8x6 SEF. Just looking for some suggestions. I know that the most important factor would be what type of hunting. I am thinking more along the lines of being prepared for any type of hunting. Thanks in advance. Jeff
