Tesoro 7" Wide Scan - any advantage?

Yup I prefer the donut coil. Though the 5 3/4" coils are really hot. Especially on the Mojave. Works fantastic on finding mineralization in rocks.

    Manticore Tones

Thank You. Yes I'm loving the 2D screen. Though owning the Explorer xs and the V3i. I wish there was options to use those screens as well as the simpler 2D screen. As least the Explorer's. Preferably the version 2 split screen version.

Tesoro 7" Wide Scan - any advantage?

The Widescan was designed for mineralized soil. The Concentric is best in mild soil. Around here I love the 5-8" coils. I have both DD and concentrics for most of my machines. The DD's by design are heavier.

Well, I'm back from the OBX beach week.... Theres many words I could use on how it went..

To bad we can't use an 18" suction dredge on a giant 4×4 chassis. With high pressure nozzles around the intake to blast a stir up the sands as it sucks them into the sluice box. That'd clean up All the Old stuff. 😇 Ever seen those high pressure water diggers used to water blast with giant...
