    I know what you mean Donna,rings used to come easy at one time but now its really hard work to find them.2014 was my best year when a storm ripped tons of sand from our local beach......we had loads off that year.Even coins are difficult to find these days as people carry less cash around.

    I'll second what FW said........i've been using the xterra pro on the beaches in the UK........its a fantastic machine,even deep in the wet salt sand.Get the dedicated waterproof headphones and you will be well away.

    I have the pro and use it on the beaches.....now with the 15x12 coil.I can honestly say that the performance is astounding for a single frequency machine on the wet sand,as good as multi frequency machines in most cases,minelab have certainly done something different with it??
