    Slightly different but I use a Sovereign gt at the beach and an xterra pro.Ibought the xterra because it was light and fully waterproof so I could go detecting in the wetter weather,also to do a bit of wading in the surf.Im very impressed with the xterra,it's great on the wet sand,deep and hits...

    I bought an xterra pro a while back and for the few times I've used it its been fantastic on the wet sand.I've used a few single frequency detectors that have done well on the wet sand such as the whites M6 but this is in a different league.........amazing performance for a single frequency unit.

    I still use a Sov GT and find just as much as anyone else with any other machine.More recently I bought an exterra pro because of its light weight and its waterproof..........fabulous machine on the wet sand.
