    Tried the Racer

    A friend of mind bought a Racer and I tried it out . Great looking machine , well built. However , I don't like the overload. It overloads w/both coils . ( 5x4 and 7x11 coils ) I am going to wait until the new G2+ comes out. The G2+ will fill in for the racer. Now , I am going to get a FORS...

    Buying new is best for a Tesoro...

    I was thinking on trying a new Tesoro and now and then I see them on the metal detecting classified forum forsale. Some not a bad price but thinking about this I say to myself for another $50 bucks I can get a new one and get a lifetime warranty. Now I figure that's the way to go. GS

    Racer depth reading ?

    I know the FORS CoRe depth reading is in cm . Is this the same on the Racer , or is the Racer depth reading in inches ? Thanks for any info. GS

    Is anyone else having this problem ? I try to put a massage in the subject line and as soon as I hit in the subject line it redirects me to the Nokta Metal Detector Home Page . So the only way to put a subject in is use the smileys. GS
