    1800,s gold rings

    I was talking with a guy that buys scrap gold , and he told me some 1800,s gold rings were plated with a higher kt. gold . Anyone else ever hear this ? I have found a handfull of 1800,s gold wedding bands , in the past , that I thought were only plated . Now I will recheck these . -mike

    Very pleased with performance of etrac . !rst time using it ,I found a 1909 Canadian 1 cent . 2nd time using it , I found a 1875 U.S. 25 cent , in excellent condition , also many newer coins . wow -mike

    excal took on water

    Bad o ring ,so I got a little water (fresh water .not salt water) in my excallibur main body . I took off the 2 set screws and plug ,so it would dry out . How long does it take to dry ?? What is the best way to dry it out ?? - thanks
