    I was there years ago. I got some really nice shot rock from what I believe was called The American Eagle mine. Along the road to Silver city. The bits spread throughout the telluride ore. Are definitely detectable.

    Try a carbon rub trace. Pencil or art carbon stick. Place paper over it. And rub the carbon on the paper. And keep the paper steady and tight over the coin or object to trace. Works great on unreadable tomb stones too. Where I learned that from some old fart. Now I'm the Old fart. LoL Good Luck
