    I've always wanted one of these and finally found it at a yard sale. He's very weathered and dried out. I need to restore him. Should I use wood filler on the cracks ??? And what kind of oil or preservative on the wood ??? I suspect it's oak as he's quite heavy!! TIA Donna)NJ
