    Tesoro 7" Wide Scan - any advantage?

    I used 1 for a while on a GS 2. I thought it was very good. I could max out the sensitivity using it and it was still very quiet and deeper than my 8" concentric and a lot better in the trash. I sure regret selling the unit. I also tried an 8.5 DD but it didn't perform nearly as well...

    Time and labor ? I can't think of a better way to spend my time at my age. Labor ? Detecting isn't labor , it's fun. And most of the machines I've owned have more than payed for themselves.

    Lots of fake gold chains out there these days. I found 1 just a few days ago. If it "just doesn't look right" then it probably isn't gold . Good Luck !
