    Depth and Accuracy...with the v3i

    Hope someone can help me figure this out. My quarters and dimes at 8 to 81/2 inches are giving me a VDi reading of 91 92 93 with the DD coil, and the950 coil. These coins at 6 to 6 1/2 inches the VDi's are where they should be. This bothers me somewhat on deeper coins, we're talking a 8 to 10...

    FE #'s in the 20's

    Some say to dig the FE #'s in the 20's if you have a consistant CO #. I do and all I get are bits of nails and other junk? Anyone else experience this? Thanks Ron

    New E trac today! ...WoW

    An awesome machine, I loaded Andy's coin program...what can I say the learning curve is not bad at all, the E trac exchange worked flawlessly. Great job on the design too...really impressed. Retired the V3i for the time being....:wiggle:

    May be taking a trip to the beach with my daughter next month, have 1 question. Watching you tube videos I notice alot of people swing really fast at the beach, this would attribute to using a lower RD, is faster better for beach compared to say a filter of 5.0 and an rd of 65 running slower...

    4 Months Hunting with the V3

    Seen how you added to my pic I posted, you sure are good with the computer. Was wondering, when I upgrade to the V3i, the V3i has a coil selection,in this section are all the coils listed 5.3, 4x6, 6x10, D2 to select from?

    Camel Humps

    Used the V3 for 3 months now, one thing I noticed in the analize screen, Silver hits green camel hump in the 22.5 freq, clad quarter hits in the 22.5 freq, nickel hits in the 22.5 freq, if its pure silver and in your analize mode why won't it hit or hump in the 2.5 freq?

    Reading the book I understand RX gain and what it does but how does it affect discrimination? Book says Discrimination is secondary to RX Gain.     All problems solved

    Talked with Bob and Steve at whites, and their concensus was the V3is faulty. So called my dealer and going to swap out for a V3. I did miss the ground probe option the v3i didn't have, as I have used a friends vision and knew it pretty good. So its the V3 for me and Maybe an upgrade at a later...
