    New to Garrett Forum, got a GTI2500

    New V3i!

    After much research, got my V3i home. Decided to use it right out of box with no adjustments. Went to close by school for a couple of hours. Big learning curve after using the Fisher F4. Here is some of the stuff I found. Can't wait to get into the customization.

    4 hour hunt at park. One wheatie..

    2 weeks of hunting and finally found first Ring

    I got my F4 about 2 weeks ago. Been hunting on and off. Finally got my first ring! Problem is don't know if its trash or good. No indicator on the ring what metal it is. It showed as a solid 23 which is Foil. Found it in a park. Was only about 4" down. Junk or not.. It was an exciting find.
