    APEX noisey

    II bought a Garret APEX when they came out. It has always chattered. Just holding it up in the air and shaking it will make it chatter. Is this normal? Coil connection is tight. Does the same with the new smaller coil. Update has been done.

    Did Garrett mess up by the user not being able to change out their own batteries? If you use it all day then you have to charge it all night!     Got a V3i today

    I got a new V3i today so the learning begins! When my brain gets tired, I'll take out my M6 while it rests up! I used the DFX very little, love the M6. Got my DFX posted in the classified.

    Whites Fast Service

    I mailed my $10 order off to Whites on Mar 2 for my $100 worth of items and I received them on Mar 12. Generally rebates take from 6 to 8 weeks but both times Whites has came through in less than 2 weeks on their special items you get when you purchase their detectors.

    MXT and Headphones

    I'm using a White's MXT w/SunRay Pro Headphones. If I plug the 1/4in headphone connector all the way in, I get no sound. If I slide the plug out of the detector about 1/8 in to 1/4 in they work fine. Anyone else run into this? Just wondering if that is normal or not.

    I received my MXT from Kellyco last Wednesday. I mailed my form and check for the $99 coil, headphone and pointer package off to White's last Thursday. I got an email today from them with a tracking number and saying they had shipped it USPS today. That was quick, less than a week! Thanks...
