    Can you update the X-Terra Pro

    I just got mine today. Any tips you can give me? I live in Louisiana so we have mild soil. I'm not a noob I've used older Garrett machines, 4 or 5 Tesoro's, Simplex Plus and older Fisher machines such as CZ-5 and CZ-6.

    Talked to a dealer today and his friend tested his Xterra Pro on an oscilloscope in beach mode and said it's using multiple frequencies in Beach. Wow! I called Minelab and spoke to tech support and they said it's very possible. Maybe we can just hunt in Beach all the time.

    When you speak of Fisher being a basket case I assume you're not speaking of the Los Banos machines?

    The Los Banos CZ-5 was one of the best detectors I ever owned. I don't know the value because everyone wants the newest best multi frequency detector. I wish I had it. It was a great machine. It loved iron but you could find the deep good stuff. Many people don't even know what you're talking...

    Got a Simplex a few weeks ago….

    You probably have electrical wires underground or overhead. Run in Park 1 change the frequency on your detector and don't run full sensitivity
