    While I had no problems this time around, I keep wondering why XP departed from the traditional update you download and then install from your PC???? Dumb. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

    Eureka! 1.1 for Deus 2 works

    The update procedure went smooth as owl poop for main Deus 2 and WS6. Windows 11 with Chrome. No issue whatsoever. The New 11 works like it should. Eureka!! Now to reinstall programs. BUT IT WORKS!! Iron is where it should be.

    I still do not understand why they changed the update process. The old one where you download the updates worked just fine.

    It states at the start certain browsers are incompatible. Firefox is one. Chrome works fine.

    Looks like I got it done. The Deus site kept losing connection or timing out. Finally managed to finish but had to retry again and again. What a screwed up way of updating this is. Please go back to the old way of downloading the update file and then installing. This stinks.

    Dont need an ultra expensive satellite phone. I have a Garmin 750i which has a satellite connected SOS button and can even message with a subscription. Well worth the cost.

    3M Scotch-Weld 08966 Epoxy Adhesive DP420 is pricey but it is about the best epoxy you can get. Holds forever and is super strong.
