    Hi .. heres a ring I found yesterday in a bark play area...got a signal with the etrac.. rock solid 12 - 22.. so low pull tab numbers, dug.. saw the lovely shiny silver colour, pulled out the ring and first thought was "white gold".. the diamond I would assume is fake.. looked for the stamp...

    silver bracelet id

    Ok I'm off tonight to try and locate a silver bracelet for a lady. As I'm new to this etrac, what id should I be looking for and tricks for hunting surface finds. Should I turn the sensitivity way down for instance? thanks

    The Etrac difference

    Got my etrac last night, went out for a first try at a little park I have been to many times... the etrac was as good as I hoped, easier than expected.. and it will only get better as I learn the thing. I had this little fantasy about finding a ring on the first hunt to.

    ok, convince me:)

    I have a fisher f4 which I have been quite successful, there is a guy here in New Zealand selling an E trac.... should I rush off and buy it? What are the pluses and minuses..in a wife friendly form might be helpful.

    Shell casings id please

    Never found any before but this weekend found these shell casings from two locations, the middle one I'm guessing is a 303 circa WW2 but the other two, the larger one has R A 2 stamped on it.

    F4 plus six days = $230 nz

    Had a week off and spent it on the beaches of Waiheke Island , New Zealand with the aim of finding $100.. did that in the first three days. Found other interesting things too , a couple of silver rings, lots of foreign coins, an ipod. My longest hunt was about four hours which netted over $40...
