Bad day for my new Anfibio's coil

Some one accidentally stepped on my new Anfibio's 11" coil. Cracked mid coil. Gonna give super glue a try to repair. What a bummer!

CORS strike coil vs stock coil AT Pro

Just did a quick comparison of the two. Had same size NEL for my AT Gold, also worked great. This Strike is nice, will be my main coil for in the water this season. Marked distances for 100% repeatable signals, at max sensitivity and -1 for each coil, quarter, dime, nickel and copper penny.

Switched from AT Gold to At Pro, first digs of the year...

After using an At Gold for the past two seasons, I decided to try an AT Pro this season (mostly water hunt). Had to get out in this nice winter weather to play in the dirt some. Local old park ground, loaded with trash of course. Also tryin out a new Cors coil (works great). South Bend. Got...

AT Gold (it's 1st day =1st Gold) great detector!

First day out with the new machine, went to a spot that I've hit numerous times with previous detectors. Using the 8.5x11 coil, it sniffed out a 1920 Canada one cent and also it's first gold ring, my first dry land gold ring (usually water hunt). This place is riddled with old square nails...

1st ring recovery dive of the year

Got a call about a lost Mason's ring at a yacht club in 10ft of water. The guy was securing his pontoon to the dock and the ring slipped off onto the abyss. It had been worn for the last 40 years, and he planned to hand it down to his son when the time came. Made the arrangements, grabbed the...

    Big lake hunt

Couldnt do much the past couple days due to the big waves and rains from sandy. The winds finally let up today, enough to get the waves down to 3 or 4ft. Most of the lake michigan beaches are sanded in even worse now than before. Managed to find an area that wasnt so bad today. No gold, but...

Barber at the beach this morning

Got a late start, but went back for another pre-work quickie this morning. Found this old costume ring surrounded with some sort of glass and my last target of the day ended up being a 1916 barber dime! The whole lot:

Dive= ounces of silver and Gold!

After an non-productive early morning goose hunt, loaded up the dive gear and made a return trip to try and find a rumored lost item of gold in the water. The Treasure God's blessed me today, not just once, but 4 times..... and found that item! Here's some pics: (gold in left hand...

    Yesterday's before-work-hunt, 1 little gold

Pretty sure this spot isn't being detected. Couldn't take 2 steps without finding a pull tab/ring, sometimes 2 in the same scoop. Alot of work for little return, but i'll take it, 10kt, diamonds are not real. One old nickel and not sure what the other copper kinda this is part of....

    Today's hunts, silver/silver/silver+

Hit a beach first thing, lookin for a couple lost rings, found a men's 925 band, not many good targets. After lunch, made the drive up to my new favorite spot, spent a couple hours searchin/diggin..... Another nice walking liberty half! Merc dime! 4 wheaties, 30's, 40's first kennedy half...

"silver beach", return trip, another first + gold

First trip (last night): Last nights quickie hunt here Made the return trip this morning as planned, had a few hours, with the chance of storms moving in, luckily they skirted to the south. For the most part, there were targets every few steps while searching, alot of nails, bolts, lead...

Sterling ring and my first walking half liberty

Well, I found my first and only mercury dime in a lake, and now my first and only walking liberty half came out of a lake also, 1942! This is a very unique spot where you can't hardly utilize a scoop, it's much faster to use a vibra-probe and feel with your fingers for the target. The oldest of...

First dive of the season, =gold:smile:

Been tryin to get out, but days off and the weather haven't been cooperating. Got a late start, wasted a couple hours going to the post office to fetch my vibra-probe that was supposed to be here yesterday. Decided to try a new kind of spot and had a tip on a gold item that was lost last week...

    Some more goodness today !!

Hit it hard today, prettymuch dug late-morning until evening. Had a slow start, ran into some unique digging conditions, turned out to be somewhat of a blessing in disquise after figuring out how to deal with it. Ended up being a great mixed-bag kinda day! old junker both marked...

Bunch'o quarters and a little goodness

In the big lake today, returned to look for a men's wedding band that was dropped a couple days ago. Apparently there was a big blow last night, because all the trash cans and porta jons in the area were tipped over. No luck finding the ring, with all the wave action and overnight sand movement...
