    Metal detectors and dirt roads

    I spend a lot of time on an ATV on dirt roads and trails in the spring, summer and fall. Had my new sovereign stolen last month so I am looking at a new detector. Should I be looking at one of the water sealed detectors or do you think one of the unsealed units like the sovereign would work?
