    Gold Screamer Power Pack Question

I just bought a GPX-5000 and have some questions on the Gold Screamer. For those that are using it, do you find the machine runs smoother because the big curly power cord has been eliminated? There is some speculation that the curly cord was the cause of some EMI. Are you finding this too...

    A question about headphones...

Yesterday I had an opportunity to try a pair of after market headphones and the difference between them and the Koss UR-30's was like night and day. I'm curious what headphone's you are using and why? Is it important to you that they have a volume control for each ear? Do you find it...

Does anyone know if the SEF 10x12 coil is water proof? I know the 11" pro coil that came with my SE Pro is, but I don't know about the SEF coil? By water proof, I mean can it be submerged and completely water resistant. I am heading to the beach Wednesday and plan to do some dry sand hunting...

Bryce, Is this the warbly, flutey sound???

Isn't it wonderful when we try to describe sounds or sights??? :super: I am still waiting to hear the "warbly flutey sound," but I know it is not too far off now. At 4:35 of this video, is this the infamous "warbly, flutey sound?" The flute sound I completely grasp, it is the warble that is...

    Take time, swing very slow

I have read repeatedly that with the SE Pro, it should be swung slow. I am taking Bryce's advice religiously and not messing with the factory settings until I have somewhere between 5 - 10 full hunts under my belt. I understand the reasoning for this, this machine speaks a different language...
