First 15 hours with AT Pro

After sitting on the sidelines since the release of the AT Pro, I finally purchased a used machine. I mainly hunt old coins and relics, but gladly dig clad and jewelry as well. Here are the positives: 1. Audio: I hunt in Pro Mode Zero, iron disc at 31 or 32, iron audio ON. I was skeptical...

    Success- Omega w/5" DD

I hunted for a few hours after work last night, knowing that a large snow storm is expected here tomorrow (April fools day Nor'easter). I decided to hunt a very trashy vacant lot that I have hunted many times, with a larger concentric coil. My hope...to find a few good targets amongst the...

First Hunt of the year with the Omega

Well, we are still a bit buried in snow here in NH, but two days in the 60's have exposed a few areas. I went out to a wooded area that I have hit before, for about an hour. Very first signal...a nice 1944 Mercury Dime. Only other digs...a deep rusted buckle and screw cap..and a few junk...

Example- GTI's can get it done too!

With all this talk of about the AT Pro, just wanted to share a nice find I made with my GTI 2500 a few years ago. It was found near an old railroad bed (yes, lots of iron around) under an old tree root at about 9" inches with the stock coil. Imaged between "B" and "C" size, and sure looked...

Omega- different approach with good result

I have used the Omega exclusively this year with very good results. I have focused on older sites, hoping to find some older coins and relics, and the Omega has not disappointed (except for EMI issues at some sites). Typical settings...Disc 16, D1 audio (I don't care for the high tones in D3...
