Is there REALLY more depth in Relic than C&J on the MXT Pro?

I've heard MANY say yes and MANY say no to the above question. Is there any definitive evidence or data backing up the "DEEPER in Relic Mode" claim? What are your experiences? :pulltab:

    DD Pin-pointing advice needed. :detecting:

I'm certainly not new to 'Tectin but I am new to DD coils & hear there a little different/difficult to pin-point with compared to a concentric. I got a D2 & a 6X10 on the way with my MXT Pro. I've never swung a DD. Any suggestions/advice on pinpointing with these coils?? :pulltab:

White's 5.3 or 6" DD EXcelerator. I just cant decide! HELP!

VERY soon to be picking up an MXT Pro & I do need multiple coils for multiple apps. I am a BIG fan of Monte and his wisdom regarding coils (& Tectin in general) He would say pick up the 5.3 hands down no matter what dirt you swing in! (Mine is BAD Ga. red clay) THEN I hear all the talk about the...

    Coil(s) questions & comments...

I sure hear a lot about the 5.3 Concentric coil from White's BUT - I live in N. Georgia & am very concerned about getting decent depth with this CONCENTRIC coil in my REALLY Bad ground! Has anyone used or compared this coil with maybe the 5" or 6" DD EXcelerator coils? I need great separation in...

I thought I read in a post about a MXT Pro book(s) out there but I can't find that post! Can anyone point me to a book or books on the MXT Pro? Where to get it, price etc... Thank You!! :pulltab:

New release by White's coming soon!! :clapping:

I've heard the Cat's already outta the bag (Kinda) but the White's factory told me a few days ago that the V3i may not be the "Top Dog" from white's for too much longer. Who know's what's soon to come but the V3i is still a NEW unit. My guess is an additional bell or whistle or paint job but you...

    Coil (s) recommendations please...

I've read a TON of other posts about MXT coils but can y'all help me narrow it down a little? I need... 1 - Coil with great depth (12" is tooo big!) in mineralized dirt (North Georgia) for occasional CW relic hunting in the woods. 2 - "General Use" Coinshooting coil that MUST be sensitive to...

Are the White's pinpointers any good?

I KNOW the Garrett pro-pointer is great! I've used the Sunray & it was OK but a little cumbersome. How 'bout the White's pinpointer. One is supposed to come with my next machine but don't know if I should bargain it away & just get a Garrett??? :pulltab:

Curious about the MXT Pro's depth...?

Hey guy's. Just bought a Fisher F75 LTD but not sure if it's the machine for me and my Ga. red clay yet! I KNOW it's deep (So was my 6000 DI Pro SL) but it's a real chatter box! I've been reading a lot 'bout the MXT Pro & was wondering what kinda depth I might get with this machine?? I DON'T...

Seems y'all really like the MXT pro! Please, tell me why!

Thanks for y'alls opinions about your fav. 'tectors! Seems that MXT pro is something special! I MAINLY hunt coins & jewelry at parks, churches & old house sites & very occasionally get the chance to do some C/W Relic hunting. I'm also going to join a worldwide organization that helps people find...

I "may" be looking for a new unit. What's your Fav. whites machine & why?

I've owned several White's units since the 70's & recently "Jumped ship" & got a Fisher F75LTD Which MAY have been a mistake! I might be interested in another Whites but seems they've "progressed" a bit since My Spectrum XLT - I mostly Coin/Jewelry hunt & occasionally do a little CW Relic...

A few finds with a trusted old friend...

I sure miss the unmistakable tone of a coin & the broken tone of iron from my 6000 Di Pro SL - That machine was DEEP too! Dumbest thing I ever did was to sell it! I hope you enjoy the Pics... :pulltab: http://www.flickr.com/photos/danluther/

    Questions 'bout F75LTD "Sensitivity"...

I hear of so many guys running their F75's as hot as possible. I'm dealing with EMI and good ole Ga. red clay & MUST back off on my sensitivity setting, sometimes a lot to get a stable machine. I guess what I'm asking for is HOW MUCH am I having to sacrifice "Depth wise" when I have to drop sens...

I've been swingin one off & on for over 30 years now & in years past, I knew very few people that didn't think I was "a little weird!" Since I "discovered the forums just a month or so ago, I've learned that there's a lot of other "weird" folks out there & here's some quick observations...
