    from DFX to V3i

    I also went from a DFX to a v3 I used the DFX for 7 years their to much to list . the v3 I is so much better it's everything you would want . it has everything I wanted on the DFX the only con is if you like to tinker with settings it's definitely a long learning curve. Work's great right out...

    Etrack question ?

    I was wondering if this has happen to anyone else. I know that you can only set the sensitivity up to 30 but this has happened to me about 6 times in auto plus 3 it hit's 31 just wondering.

    Just picked up this coil tryed it out the other day target separation is really good quite surprised by the coil so far need more testing ive only used the pro coil up to now .was thinking about the 6×8 but settled on this one .does Any one have any comments on it.

    Tx Boost

    I use it 90 percent of the time i also take 3 battery packs with me so far. I've only needed to use 2 of them I see a big difference in deep targets.

    Congrats on getting this great detector. I would love to get a 10 x 12 sef i just can't spend that kind of $ and not be able to use my hot settings I use tx boost a lot. I really like the dx probe. Good luck.

    Yes that's deep.i would like to say thanks neil. Had my v3i for six weeks getting great results. I apply a lot of how i use it from your techniques that you post keep them coming.

    thought i had a problem !

    I went out today an tried it out for 4 hours every thing went fine. Tried it at 15 rx dis 75 all Metal 75 worked great. Turned rx down to 12 tx boost on still worked good. I hope it was just one of those days.

    I read their could be a problem with the sunray an the 10 dd coil worked fine for weeks just the one weekend it was 24 degrees out i was wondering if the real cold caused the problem an if anyone else had this happen to them. It's been fine since then.

    I hear if you plant a coin down deep an cant pick it up its because you just planted it.I hunt a lot of farm feilds that are just plowed I pick up targets from surface down to 14 inches.so I wonder if the theory of fresh planted coin realy holds any merit.just a thout ?

    I got out yesterday & today for a 2hour short hunt just to see if their was any big diff from dfx made a few tweeks then hit a field that me an my buddy hit hard over the years.hit a wheat penny 8 inches down 78 solid vdi an tone not bad then 5 feet away from that one another 7 inches down.soon...
