    Geez , I have found dozens of silver rings in both the zinc and Cu penny range and this guy smacked a solid 40 on my Legend

    Easy to extract the zinc with a simple propane torch and a crucible if you want go to the effort. I take a few pounds at a time to the Coinstar that has coupons to a store I use and pour them through a couple of times. the ones that reject stay is the return for some kid to find and go nuts...

    I hate to say it (not really) but I told you so . Silver will always please you on the upside when it moves but shock you on the downside when it corrects . Look at the move from 52 to12 not too long ago. Don't freak buy ,buy , buy!!!

    You might be surprised , I would think copper/brass wire would ring up with a high tone. I have heard you can test pearls by rubbing them against your front teeth and if if it feels gritty they are real , smooth means they are probably fake.
