    You might be surprised , I would think copper/brass wire would ring up with a high tone. I have heard you can test pearls by rubbing them against your front teeth and if if it feels gritty they are real , smooth means they are probably fake.

    Pigs get fat , hogs get slaughtered! Find local buyers not big establishments to sell to and , for gods sake , sell in quantities small enough to not generate a paper trail unless you can somehow prove you have a high cost basis.
