    I have both versions of Andy's book for the Deus. Also attended his class on the Deus. All are geared towards the Deus 1 but contain a great amount of information that pertains to the Deus 2. Also a good reference for detecting in general. Highly recommend it.

    RESEARCH is the key. There are many places that have not been detected because nobody knows they are there! I use old books, maps, and articles about the areas. I have located old one room school houses, old farm houses with surrounding fields, abandoned boat launches, old swimming holes...

    River finds from today...

    Problem with the river near me is that the bottom is all rocks of all sizes.. A real crapper to get a scoop under them. Guess I will have to go to the mask and dig them out by hand.

    Stick with the local dealers. They won't be around when you need them if you don't. You won't have the friendly face to sit and talk with, answer your questions, tell you what is or isn't worth a crap, can often fix your problems on the spot, etc.. I would rather have them around or they will go...
