    Bad Deus 2 9" coil/Warranty Repair experience

Sucks you had to pay for shipping. Glad you got up and running again though.

    Bad Deus 2 9" coil/Warranty Repair experience

Update American Detector Distributors has sent me a new coil. They are sending my previous bad coil to XP to figure out the issue. I will have the new one tomorrow ( a week turnaround). Very pleased with their service.

    Bad Deus 2 9" coil/Warranty Repair experience

Recently, my 9" coil started acting erratically. I had just been on an outing and got home and discovered the coil completely dead. I figured the coil just needed a charge so I hooked it up and left it for some hours. I checked on it and the charging light was blinking erratically, almost...

    XP D2 depth

The D2 (in my use) surpasses any detector I have ever owned (CTX and Anfibio included). I am using the 9" coil with a modified Deep HC program. I recently played around with it on the beach (beach sensitive) and I was hitting a pop-top at 14"-16" (with ID).

    DEUS 1 VS. DEUS 2

I have had all the incarnations of the XP Deus 1. The D2 (especially in Deep HC and the beach programs) is noticeably deeper with a way better lock-on ID. You can also take it 60 ft underwater, and the remote is better built and more rugged. I believe it is well worth paying the difference for...

    DEus 2 version 0.71 available.

Weird Xp does not tout that your custom programs don't get deleted on the .71 info page. Seems like a big deal to me.

This experienced detectorist Paystreak Superfreak on YouTube is struggling with Deus II recent software updates

I am so distracted by his little walk/dance he does while he is swinging his detector.

XP Deus II is the Real Deal

Specifically: Overall Depth, ID @ depth (a major improvement over the Deus 1), separation, and even pinpointing. Potential: Depth (w/ID) that rivals the CTX without the slowness and clunkiness.

XP Deus II is the Real Deal

I concur. Granted, I only have about 3 hours on it (9" coil) right now, but I am very, very impressed. I have had an AT Pro, CTX, Nox 800, Anfibio, F75, and a Deus HF 9", and this thing already is showing way more potential than any of those.

    XP Deus 2 Finally.

Cool! I had an Orion XT12g some years ago. Loved it but got tired of lugging it everywhere. I hope to get a "grab and go" scope in the near future.

Have you got your Deus 2

Looks that way. There were six 11" versions on that popular buy and sell website that starts with an E. Edit: Looks like there are 2 left.

Anyone hunt Civil War Relics in Atlanta 1980's?

Interesting thread! An item on my metal detecting bucket list is to find my first minie' ball. I used to live in the Atlanta area back in 2005-2007 and was told (by an old timer) to go east of Atlanta following Sherman. He gave me some specific spots to check but never did get the time to...

    HF coil and TX Power

Is the TX power setting available with the HF coil(s)? Thanks in advance.

    13" LF vs the 9" HF ?

I am thinking about picking up another Deus with either the 13" LF or the 9" round HF coil. I would like to have a second Deus and not just another coil (i.e. for family and friends to use). I do mainly coin-shooting so I realize that is probably a strike against the HF. I do think I could...

    Bucketlister for me anyways...

Found these two last weekend with the Deus. My first US Civil War era coin. I was shocked to see the date. What a great feeling to save these. These were about 50 feet from one another on a brand new house and lot (not in the fill dirt). The 1864 was behind their backyard property (wooded...

    Handle cover?

Hi, I was curious if anyone uses some sort of cover for their CTX handle? I was looking for something available in the US, washable, and uses maybe Velcro. As you probably know the handle takes a beating so I am trying to minimize that. Thanks for any info!
