    CZ-3d gone?

    Looks like Fisher has Dropped their CZ-3d from their catalog!! Shows no longer available on their site. Sad to see it gone.

    Deep coins sounding like iron!

    Has anyone else noticed that a coin past about 7-8 inches will give a solid iron signal on the AT Max? I started digging iron signals to see what I was hearing and pulled one wheat cent and two mercury dimes that all gave a deep iron signal till they had dirt removed. My dirt here reads 92-94...

    Ground balance number

    In several locations that I hunt I always get the same automatic ground balance number! It always ground balances at 93. Is that possible? Everything else seems to work fine I guess. Just seems odd to get the same number every time.

    Ground balance/sensitivity

    This may seem like a dumb question but is it necessary to ground balance every time you adjust sensitivity? Can you ground balance at a 10 sensitivity and lower it to say 5 without affecting the ground balance?

    NEL tornado coil-F75LTD

    Has anyone tried the Nel tornado coil on the current F75 LTD? What do you think of it? Better depth and separation than the stock 11 inch coil?

    EQ600 at old homesite?

    I will be getting a EQ600 in the next few days! I have an old(1860) house with about 2.5 acres to start learning the detector on. What would a good starting set-up be for a location like this? Just trying to get a feel for where to start. I am located in Northern Vermont. Thanks.

    Current CZ3d

    Thinking about picking up a new CZ3d in the next couple of weeks! Have they ever got the calibration issues resolved that they were having several years ago? Lot of talk about it several years back.

    Coils

    I have a Smart+Plus with the HP Elliptical DD 11.5/7.7 coil! Thinking about getting a Pitbull 11"DD. Is there much of a difference in these two coils as far as depth is concerned? Thanks.
