    Trouble with new remote

    My DEUS 1 remote was giving me trouble. Since it was out of warranty, I ordered a new one. I can pair the coils, but I am having trouble pairing the headphones. The manual is not much help. Can anyone give me some help?

    Charging cables don't work

    I received my Deus 2 on 2/14 and now the charging cables don't work. I know it is the cables because I have a Deus 1 and those cables, without the screw in connector, work on my Deus 2.     ID NORM on Deus II

    I just received my Deus 2 and it appears to have ID NORM turned on. On my Deus 1, I have 2 of my favorite program saved next to each other, but with different frequencies, so I can switch back and forth to check iffy signals. Does anyone know how to Turn ID NORM off on the Deus 2?

    I saw a U-tube video showing the Deus 2 WS6 puck fitting in a set of Quest pro 1702.1 headphones made for the Deus 1 WS4 puck. Will the WS6 puck operate properly in the Quest headphones?

    Coil choice

    I am considering purchasing an additional coil for my E-track. The choices are: Tornado 12x13, NEL Hunter D 8x12 or a SEF 10x12? I hunt old houses and farms in upstate NY, and would appreciate any advice.

    Deus tipping over

    The legs on the Deus are short and it tips over easily.A quick and inexpensive fix is: Cut a 1 inch wide ring from a 4" diameter PVC pipe. Cut a section from the ring approximately 40 percent. Paint it black if you want. Attach it to the Deus using zip ties.

    I have a Deus with 3 coils, the std 11", the 9" HF 55 kh and the 9.5" HF elliptical 74 kHz. I plan on prospecting in the New England area where the gold is small. Would I be better of using the 74 kHz coil looking for gold itself, or using the 9" 55 kHz coil looking for iron and heavy metals...
