    New multi frequency machine

One area they could beat up on the nox would be a large selection of coils.

Guy with First Texas says new machines coming possibly later this year.

How old is Dave Johnson? The started designing detectors in 1981, 40 years ago. Is he in his 70's by now , and retired?

    Got My Gold Coin................................................

Smart move, on investing in gold. I met an 83 yr young fella thru my work, and have become friends. We go out to lunch every few weeks. We are both investors in the metals and mining stocks. He started accumulating gold coins in the 70's when gold was once again allowed to be owned by the...

The X, is it for me?

Runnning the X on the beach, Its deeper than the Tesoros, deeper than my Anfibio in 3 tone, Deeper than the T2 , deeper than the eq800. Its deep. I had the second disc set up to accept zincolns and above, and I dug a copper memorial cent at 11" first time out with the stock 11 coil. Can it...

I had my best hunt ever today!

Wow awesome hunt there. I would definitely lower the disc once the coins start to thin out. Probably more good stuff amongst the trash.

I guess I just have a soft spot for Tesoro and always will

I like my new beep and dig unit, the Vista X. I started out with an ah mini pro in the 70's. Now that was a beep and dig down to 3" max.

Multi Coin Spills ? Could be Analog driven, huh ?

Dancer, I think you are correct on the closer listening part. When watching the screen, and you see a bunch of bouncing numbers, we often write it off as trash. I began detecting in the 1970's, and thats all we had is analog audio. You just cant beat a good audio system, plus there is more...

Truthfully, the difference in most detectors

The Vista X was in disc mode. Its just deeper than the nox, in my experiences as well. I just happened to run across this video to show it. The nox is a nice detector, but not the best at everything.

Truthfully, the difference in most detectors

Found a vid from a guy in Tennessee on the depth of the Vista X vs the EQ800. I wasn't jerking your bobber that the Vista X is one deep machine. enjoy

Truthfully, the difference in most detectors

"Also multi-frequency machines will out perform all others on a variety of targets and increase your finds." Sorry Mr Coffey67 I have to disagree. My Vista X single frequency smokes the nox I used to have in the depth dept. Even in my high mineralized soil.

A few more pulled from the 2cent green.

Have you tried a smaller coil? That should unmask a few more. Last week at the beach I hit an iron infested area with a 5 x 9 coil, Then put on a 4 x 7 coil, and pulled 5 more coins out, 3 were quarters.
