    Considering a Nokta/Makro Simplex +

    I was using my Simplex around power lines yesterday, and it you could tell there was a little noise from them. It wasn’t impeding the function by any means. It wasn’t enough to bother shifting the frequency to help get rid of it.

    I found my second N.C. button yesterday! I’m glad my research is paying off with finding my first Confederate treasures. It isn’t as nice as the first, but am glad I found it.

    Relic settings.

    That is how I run mine, and I switch between 14 & 20 kHz at times. I also run deep mode with the gain as high as I can get with no noise. I have found all my buttons so far with this machine with those settings.

    The OVM stands for Ohio Volunteer Militia, I’m not sure what that is though. Clean that button up carefully with a toothpick to see if we can get some details. Awesome finds, good job!
