    It really depends on coil size and power. I took a GPX5000 to the beach and was digging toy matchbox cars at 30-inches. I'll never do that again!

    I sell to a local jeweler that I have been going to for years. He pays 85% of spot, and is always happy to see me at the end of Beach season. When spot went over $3,000.00 I took him a Troy pound and I'm just back from the Casino. Happy Days!

    A soft buzz allows you to hear "Negative Breaks," in the threshold. This occurs with deep targets when the threshold goes silent momentarily as it crosses the nugget (target). This is a repeatable "signal." Using the threshold is a skill.
