    I use a vibratory tumbler with carbon steel elliptical shot and jewelry soap. Carbon steel shot is non abrasive and the jewelry tumbling soap won't patina coppers.

    Nice. I have a 17lb'er I got from Harbor Freight over a decade ago and still runs strong. Contenti company in RI sells a nice tumbling soap for jewelry that won't patina coppers. When tumbling you may want to do the pennies separate from the others.

    Very nice, I love the 60 grit for all my best finds lol. One my last finds before I got snowed in here was a CW infantry button. Wasn't super deep.

    I was running my Tejon with stock 8x9 concentric. Usually run that with disk 1 just on the iron line and 2nd disc at tab. Target was only a few inches down in heavy gravel along a river bank here in the North East USA.

    Amount of trash and Iron frequency should dictate the size of the coil no matter where you hunt. Larger coils are often less productive since they are more prone to masking, more sensitive to EMI and have less separation.     Last spring I did a bit of research. Used some lidar maps and found old trails that were unmarked on modern maps. Buddy and I found about a dozen french coins from the early to mid 1600's as well as a few from 1800's. Lidar really did help in this case. Happy Hunting.

    All coils for the AT series are compatible. You may like the Viper coil and Reaper. Both are excellent. I had a Nel Big that failed on me as well as the Superfly.

I had a 9x12 concentric but it had marginal depth gain, was noticeably heavier than the stock coil and didn't unmask like the Tesoro concentrics.     Don't necessarily need a large coil but something that can navigate the trash. Targets may not be all that deep because the ground is usually packed along trails. Found this just on an edge of a hiking/biking trail that gets daily traffic and has had it's share of detectorists hitting the area...
