    The 600 does it again!

Let me know if you want to hit it on a weekend sometime. Or any other places. I like going after the older stuff for the most part. Finding old spots seem to be getting harder.

    The 600 does it again!

My Garrett 2500 is pretty good at separating dimes from pennies. But is has been fooled a couple of times.

    The 600 does it again!

I'm starting to think the people that have hunted it before was just cherry picking and going after the silver. I can't believe they missed that many Wheaties and the IHP's. I keep meaning to get pics of the school house, but keep forgetting before I leave. 😆

    The 600 does it again!

I'm doing it in sections. Once I am done I was planning on going in the opposite direction. As well as digging some of the numbers I passed up just to see what kind of non coin things I may have missed.

    The 600 does it again!

Yes. I was looking at a 5X10 from coil tech (I may have the name wrong) but can't afford it right now.

    The 600 does it again!

That was supposed to say the last two numbers could be 88 or 89

    The 600 does it again!

So yesterday at the old Yuba schoolhouse, I got the Indian head penny and a few Wheaties. Went back out again today for about 3 hours. I managed to pull a 1906 Indian Head Penny out which also rang in at 22. Three more wheat pennies a 1910, a 1918, and a 1941. Towards the end of the hunt just as...

    Back to the old Schoolhouse.

Actually the last three IHP's I found all rang in at 22. 15-19 are always pull tabs and junk.

    Back to the old Schoolhouse.

Been to the old Yuba School house a few times in the past. I know it has been hammered hard in the past. But the Nox 600 keeps pulling the coins. I have found about 12 Wheaties in the past. This time around I pulled a 1930 Merc, 1887 or 1897 IHP, 1919 Wheatie, 1929 Wheatie, and a 1944 Wheatie...

    Just for giggles and grins...

I decided to blow the dust off the old GTA 500 to see if she still works. Yep she still works LOL. For a 25 year old machine she did pretty good. I found a 1.24 in change. And the top half of a key.

Check one off the bucket list....

Got one from the bucket list.... Just didn't get it metal detecting I got it in change. I went to pay the phone bill at the kiosk and it spit it out with the rest of the change. Lol

    1885 farmhouse

The people who owns it were going to renovate it and live there. But the Bats got into for a few years and crapped everywhere. The county health board deemed it unsafe to live in it. So they built a house right next to it. The wife of the owners says it has a Michigan Basement in it. I would...

    1885 farmhouse

They keep it mowed pretty well. And I will guess the clothes line was where the big Oak trees are on the back side of the house. We are the only ones besides their niece to hunt it. And she only did once with a old 1970's Radio Shack Special.

    1885 farmhouse

Went back out to an old 1885 Farmhouse where we had permission to hunt. Lots of trash lot of old square nails not much good stuff. The more notable finds besides a rough 1944 wheat penny, was this old antique copper or brass barn swallow pin or brooch. And an old spinner off from an 1897 musky...
