I purchased a 6 inch smart coil, what type of depth can I expect on lets say a dime in 1 % mineralization 3 or 4 inches?
 
How does 8 - 9 inches sound?
 
Yeah, I would say that it really doesn't make a difference. I hit them at about the same depth as the stock coil.
 
I hit a Silver Washington quarter yesterday at 8 inches. And there was plenty of signal. That was auto plus 3 also.
 
Compared to the 11 inch coil one could get a good est, will it go close to the same depth as the 11 inch or is it 1,2,3 inches shallower, I will make a video after I'm allowed to open the 06 inch coil and compare depth to the 11
