09 Wheat

excellent photos, big john. what camera are you using?

Nice finds. Looks like you are finding more than your share of rings and silver dimes! :nono:  And by the looks of the discoloration on that Lincoln, it must have been laying up against something. Didn't find a gold coin in there that you're not telling us about, are you John? :detecting: Just kidding! You're doing well with your Etrac. HH Randy

09-S Lincoln is a great find. Looks like you attempted to get most of the hard, gritty green stuff off the coin..?

Just wondered what you are using to remove that crap without damaging the coin.

I don't think its a vdb but if you look close
its a double s

Onemore

Boiled some peroxide in the microwave
oven in a small sauce container from a restaurant
soaked for ten minutes at a time. Took about
8-10 times brushed with tooth brush only.

I'm just wondering if there's a VDB under that green patela on the obverse could be worth some bucks

On a 1909 the initials V.D.B. would be on the reverse side of the coin.

Nice one, bigjohn.
