1/2 hour hunt yields my second large cent.

I was very pressed for time this morning so I hit a friends place, close to home, where I had found several silvers in the past. He told me that his mother used to mention a colonial era log cabin on the property. No silvers today but I got an 1826 large cent. I'm thinking this place deserves another look before I write it off. Bust silver is my ultimate goal and, logically, it could be there.

large cent half hour hunt way to go congrates

TokenDigger, I've found a few small buckles, the outside part of them anyway. Most of the non-coin finds there have been more modern.

Great Republic, I was referring to capped bust but I guess I could settle for a DB.

This is a great forum and it just keeps getting better,
