I found me a half of half silver walker in the park. Look like a leaning liberty more like it hahahaha. Found her with my explorer II . Check out my YouTube videos to se my new year finds type in 3804balin . Feel free to post comments or subscribe if you like thanks. Here's some pics.

Nice find ! I've never seen a cut half-dollar like that .. !

Congrats on the half of a half dollar! Sounds funny to say that
but a nice find. At least you had the date part. About 3 years ago,
I found the dated half of a 1938 Washington quarter. Looked for
almost an hour trying to find the other half....never did. :wiggle:

[size=large]looks like a little better than half. so does that make it worth $0.30 instead? :wiggle:

Hey Ironman, Nice FIND!! There is a chance, that your Half of a Half Dollar was INTENTIONALLY CUT THAT WAY!! In the Older
Days, people use to cut coins in half for the PURPOSE of BEING a LOVE TOKEN or a GOOD LUCK PIECE, but more than likely a
LOVE TOKEN!! One half to the MAN and one half to his Girlfriend/Fiancee/Wife!! In the Colonial Days and in ENGLAND, a Girlfriend/
Fiancee/Wife would BEND a SHILLING or EVEN an ENGLISH COPPER in half, and give it to their LOVER who was usually LEAVING GREAT BRITIAN to serve in the KING'S MILITARY!! They could also be leaving GREAT BRITIAN as a CIVILIAN headed to the AMERICAN COLONIES to start a NEW LIFE, and the BENT COIN was a sign of their COMMITTMENT TO ONE ANOTHER!! They were CUT &
BENT IN HALF so they WOULD NOT SPEND THEM by mistake!! There is also other
forms of LOVE TOKENS!! Hope this HELPS, Les Robinson

O wow that's a nice story . Did not know that if that's the case that's a great story to tell the club. Thanks for that info sir.

It's ... it's ... the missing WLQ ! :jump:
