10x5 sef coil

Hello Folks,
Did anyone test the new 10x5 sef coil by Detech? It should be a good compromise between the 10x12 and the 8x6 ones.

Did you mean the NEL coil? I have the 5x10 NEL Sharpshooter and it is pretty awesome in the junkyard. I am using my 6x8 SEF right now to get a feel as to which coil is better. My opinion is I really can't notice a difference. Both are great coils but I think the SEF might get a bit more depth. My 2cts.

Here's an attempted comparison from a few months ago. Be your own judge---

I'd buy the Coiltek 10x5 way before I would a NEL or Detech ... coiltek is the only approved coil for minelab machines and Coiltek used to make ML's coils before they started making them theirself's

I've been using the 5x10 SEF ever since it came out, I love the Coil and it produces very well.

I received my 10 x 5 sef wss coil today and had a chance to play around with it for about an hour.

First impressions:
- Different feel (lighter) than the 8x6 sef and of course better coverage.
- It also seems to separate better and pinpointing with this coil is a breeze.

I will be using the 10 x 5 more this week and plan on doing a side comparison (real world, not test garden) with the 8 x 6 for depth, sensitivity, target Id, etc.

will keep you all informed of the results.

Looking forward to an objective comparison.
I'd like to see how close it can get you to the equipment in a totlot and how sensitive to small jewelry it is compared to the 6x8 :)
