I went to a local park that I work right across from and see people detecting ALL the time. Came out with a 1917s Walking Liberty Half, a 1925 merc, 1928 buffalo, and 5 wheats.

Great finds for your filrst hunt....gosh great for any hunt! Now aren't you glad you got an E-Trac?

CONGRATS!!!------But my question is----are you SURE you wanta keep this Etrac??-----I'll bet your question is---why'd I wait so long to get one!!---Right?? ;)-----Hey, ya can't just can't beat these machines (Etracs).---------Del

WOW! those Walkers are hard to come by. Congratulations, gotta love the E-Trac.

you must have been grinning like a little kid hahahahaha

Actually I said HOLY SH%T! Then looked around all guilty hoping there wasn't anyone in the park. Thankfully I was alone. I never expected to find anything bigger than a dime mixed in with all the trash. I figured all the larger stuff had been picked out. I've been hitting the areas with younger trees as they seem to have more trash around them. I had already found 2 mercs with my Ace 250 this month there but the half was a good 9 inches deep and there was no way I was going to pick that up with the 250. I know for a fact I've been over the very spot I found the half with the 250 and never heard a blip.

I also want to thank everyone who posts their E trac videos on youtube. I spent a good 6 months watching them before I decided to purchase my etrac. It really helped the transition and helped shorten the learning curve just a bit.

What a fantastic first hunt - congrats !

Holy cow that's a grat first hunt!! Congrats on the finds, you need to hit that park more.

Great finds! I have a New Etrac coming next week and I hope I do just half that good on
the 1st hunt with the Etrac.
