Tried out two tone ferrous for a little bit after work at the old post office house. Came out with two buffaloes 1913 T2 and a 1920, one 1901 Indian, and one 1929 wheat. I only did a little square of the yard. Seems you have to go even slower in TTF to try and get between the nails.
I assume a smaller coil works quite a bit better with TTF in heavy iron like this yard has. I'm going to order the 8x6 and the 15x12 SEF after Christmas is over with. I like the stock coil but I've heard the SEF make it a lot more stable in trashy areas. We shall see.

You did good, might try next spring and use my 4X6 coil, good for nailed yards. Keep going.
