Yes....just to know the etrac still works for me.
Stick and a pie pan helped me dig it....He pulled it out of the dirt and stuck the carrot in the hole and the penny is on top of it.
Honestly ....I have dug deeper coins than 13 inches with the etrac....got a large cent even deeper....a lot of work let me tell you.
Hardly hunt alone anymore with health problems so someone is usually along to witness the depth of the etrac.
When in doubt , dig a little deeper I always tell ole stick.
 
Great hit on that deep Indian Elmy. Reminds me of this very deep wheat penny I pulled last summer.
Yep, you said it right.. When in doubt, dig a little deeper with the eTrac. I have hit signals where I almost gave up on while pinpointing but
ended up finding them when I dug deeper.
